My friend Hugh Hamilton is a guest host for this week’s edition of Tony Butterworth’s Home Made Hit Show podcast. I’ve mentioned this podcast before and still think it one of the better podcasts out there. Every week or so Tony features songs by home recording enthusiasts. Hugh kindly asked me if he could include a song we’d been working on and you can hear it on this weeks show about halfway into the program.
I came up with the basic chords and song structure then played my Alvarez acoustic guitar, drums, and a plastic “pear” shaker. We both added some hand claps and Hugh added the bass and some great lead guitar lines. It’s a very mellow instrumental called “The End of the Weekend”. Hope you like it.
