The Jazz Butcher

A recent music playlist of artist and friend Timothy Buckwalter led me to wonder what’s up with The Jazz Butcher (Pat Fish)? Apparently he still plays in a band called Wilson these days and lives in Northampton UK.

Time for me to dig out my long out of print cassette tape compilation called Bloody Nonsense from the basement. The Trouser Press entry gives an overview and hey, the new Amazon MP3 store has a great list of tracks and what looks like a good compilation of some of those early 80’s songs I loved!

I have very fond memories of “Caroline Wheeler’s Birthday Present”.

I’ve got a Jazz Butcher album buried somewhere. I recall a mostly whie cover with a lavendar sketch??? It had a couple of great songs and was all-around good. Totally forgot about that one. Note to self: Must dig through the shelves in the basement…
